The RIDS design team's road trip to Xinjiang was an inspiration-collecting journey across vast landscapes. The convoy wound along the Duku Highway, with scenery outside the window changing from lush grasslands to towering snow-capped mountains, from scorching Gobi deserts to azure lakes, unfolding like dynamic design sketches before their eyes.

The silent spruce trees of Nalati stood tall, the shimmering waves of Sayram Lake refracted countless shades of blue, and the morning mist of Hemu Village wrapped around the warm yellow lights of wooden houses — every detail where nature and humanity intertwined became a material library for the team to capture color, structure, and texture. At the dusk of Bayinbuluke, everyone stopped drawing to watch nine suns set into the wetland; in the alleys of Kashgar's old city, the rhythm of artisans hammering copper coincided with the iterative thinking of design.

This journey was not only a physical expedition but also a return to the essence of creation: in the undisturbed wilderness, re-examining the boundaries between people and space, function and aesthetics.
